Danske Medier offers the purchase of attendance at courses and conferences (hereafter events) through the e-shop at danskemedier.dk
By your purchase of participation to an event, you accept the general terms and conditions.
Prices are quoted in Danish kroner (DKK) and are excl. VAT
You may pay with MASTERCARD and VISA / Dankort, no fees apply.
Danske Medier uses a payment solution provided by STRIPE. Your card details will be encrypted and sent directly to the bank via a secure connection.
The amount of your order will be charged from your account immediately after you have received confirmation of your participation at the event. We cannot withdraw a larger amount than approved.
Subject to errors.
Danish Media reserves the right for incorrectly stated prices and other error messages, etc.
Shortly after your order, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your order.
Access / ticket for the event is sent separately to your mail. You must print the confirmation yourself and bring it to the event.
When buying tickets for events, there is usually no cancellation right.
Purchase of tickets is subject to the Danish Consumer Agreement Act (forbrugeraftalelovens § 18, stk. 2) which means you have no right for withdrawal when your order is completed.
Danske Medier, however, offers the following options if you are prevented from attending.
-Up until 14 days prior to the event:
You may notify us in writing that you wish to cancel your participation (purchase). The notification must be sent to email@example.com. In your message, please clearly specify your wish no longer to participate in the event and make sure to check that the date is within the 14 day timing.
Danske Medier will return the amount to your account no later than 14 business days after receipt of timely unsubscribtion to the event.
–Less than 14 days prior to the event:
If there are less than 14 days to an event, you can notify us in writing that you wish to send another participant in your place. The notification must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Processing of your personal data.
Danske Medier needs to register and store information about your name, position and your business in order to identify and ensure that you can access the event you have ordered. We also need to register your email address to ensure that the order confirmation can be sent to you and you can receive important information about the event. In order for us to receive payment for your registration, we also need to register and store your credit card information.
If you do not want to provide this information, we cannot offer you access to our events. For all events, please be aware that we prepare and publish a list of participants where your name and business will appear.
Once the event is over, we will store your information for 5 years after the end of the financial year in which the purchase is made. We do so as it is necessary for us to comply with the rules in the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) . In order to learn more about our participants and thus create better and targeted events, we sometimes conduct an analysis of your contact information.
Only employees at Danske Medier working with events and the e-shop will have access to the information that is registered about you.
We do not store customer information encrypted.
We do not transmit customer information encrypted.
As registered with Danske Medier, you always have the right to object to the processing of personal data, and we will then decide whether we should delete or correct your information or limit the further processing. You also have the right to be informed about what information we have registered about you. These rights are in accordance with the Personal Data Act and inquiries in connection with this should be addressed to Danish Media via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. If you wish to complain about the processing of your personal information, you can always contact the Danish Data Protection Authorities (Datatilsynet).
Information about appeal:
Unless mandatory rules prescribe otherwise, Danish law shall apply to any Disputes between you as a customer and Danske Medier.
A complaint about a product or service purchased from us may be submitted to the Competition and Consumer Agency Center for Complaints Solutions – Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsens Center for Klageløsning, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby
You can complain to the Center for Complaints Solutions via https://www.forbrug.dk/
The EU Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used for lodging a complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a resident of another EU country.
